How Alina Baraz used Messenger to get discovered by 140,000 fans

Alina Baraz, created a buzz with her supporting performance on the Coldplay tour in the fall of 2017, a successful appearance at 2018 Coachella and positive reviews for her first solo EP, The Color of You. In anticipation of her upcoming studio album and her headlining tours in North America and in Europe, her record label, the ten-year-old Mom + Pop Music and her management at Emagen Entertainment teamed up with Stashimi to engage her fans on Messenger.

Additionally, adding Alina to Messenger’s Discovery Section that works similar to app stores, yielded great dividends with thousands of new fans connecting to her channel.

The results: Over 60,000 fans have had conversations with Alina’s Messenger experience. When Alina’s team at Mom + Pop announced on Messenger that Alina had a new song and video available, the click through rate among bot subscribers to watch the video was 60.1%.
